an someone explain to me how u get a ticket in most of chicago construction zones when people are stilll doing 55 with 45mph signs posted on the side ? onlly time i see people going 45mph is if the traffic is backed up and it usually less since the traffic is backed up anyway . but when its moving you hardly see people going 45 . so when is the 45mph usually in effect ? the signs don't say when flashing they just say 45mph in construction zone

  1. If the sign says 45, then you should be going 45 at all times. if you go over 45, then you risk getting a ticket.

  2. In my state you get fined double for speeding in construction zones...
