Okay, if you're going like 2 miles over the limit because someone is following ridiculously close and this person has their hand out the window and you see a flash would you think its a camera? Do cops do that, just take a picture instead of stopping you? I've never heard of that.

And the car was seriously unmarked and it was this small dark colored car... So yea do they do that??

  1. Hahahahahaha.  Nice avatar! And you have 46% best answer, wow. Good job.

Oh yeah, my answer/educated guess: No, cops can't do that.

And you didn't say small.  Usually "undercover" cops don't drive small cars. Well, not the ones I've seen.

And in the rare instance you happen to get a ticket, take 'em to court.  I'll testify.

    (Best answer, cough).

  2. no they dont

  3. The only photo radar I've ever heard of is used in stationary, unmanned locations.  You probably just came across a moron who had a new camera, or somebody was adjusting their mirror when the sun reflected and looked like a flash.  (Unless it was night time, then I'd go with the camera!)  ;)

  4. No...it was just some psycho.

  5. No, police would not........pi may...have you done anything or is there reason too believe why any one would be folllowing you.  While police may use any vechile as an unmarked unit, I hardly can see why they would tailgate you and take a picture of you.  They have more specilazied cameras for that.
