So I got a speeding ticket back in March, went to court, plead not guilty and did the trail by written declaration. The court found me guilty still. I can’t see how I was found guilty when he didn't even get me on radar? I have court tomorrow and am really nervous. My record has been clean for years so this is the first ticket that I got for speeding in a long time. What should I do and say in court to get off the hook? I live in Cali.

  1. I'm in NY, so this is the best I can give you from my personal experience: A few years ago, I was hit with two speeding tickets in a 24 hour period. I thought my driving career was ruined. Pleaded not guilty on both of them and, several months later, I was able to reduce them both down to "parking on pavement", which is a non-moving violation and thus, no points on the license. I also had an agreement where if I was caught speeding again, I'd get points on my license for sure if I was convicted. So, my advice to you is, don't worry. Doing 10 over isn't as bad as 15, and getting two in one day. You should get the charges lowered, especially if this is your first offense.

  2. hope your cop doesn't show up.  if this is the case they would dismiss your ticket.  It's not about if they got u on radar or not. if the cop put on ticket you were speeding then it's his word against yours. if u are found guilty just do the driving class.

  3. bribe the judge

  4. You could study the materials on how to behave in court to get the ticket dismissed. The info is on the blog spot below.
