  1. anywhere from 250.00 to 500.00 near a school so maybe deduct a few bucks.

    42 in a 25 (residential zone) ... OUCH! that's going to leave a big hole in your wallet!  I don't know how much the fine will be, but I'm glad I ain't paying it!  Extra troubles if it was a special speed zone near a school, park, hospital or construction zone!  Double the fines, and in some cases double the points!  This ticket all by itself could get you a suspended license.
