Speeding ticket in the mail?

I appearantly got caught by one of those cameras speeding how easy is it to get those tickets thrown out in court? or should i just pay it and forget it?

I think your only chances are if the camera hasn't been calibrated recently or if the cop doesn't show up in court.

Sounds like its already in your record, you can erase it of your driving record by going to traffic school, you are only allowed to go to traffic school if you have not attended it within the last 18 months.  You can do it online too, pay your ticket and don't ignore it because the court will keep sending you the bill and overtime the amount doubles and triples if you don't pay.

It is actually quite easy to overcome the fine. tell the court that some won else in the family was driving, but you can't remember just who.  This has won many cases.

is it "easy" to get the ticket overturned in court? no.. and its virtually impossible to get it dismissed if the police officer shows up...

court dates are scheduled based on when the office is able to show up... so....

also, because it was a camera ticket, the cop who was there might not need to be the one who shows up in order to prove your guilt..

my advice is just to pay it and forget it
