Speeding ticket questions?

I just got my first speeding ticket, do not really know how it all works out. I was going 80 in a 55 mph speed zone, it was on the parkway.

-How long is the whole court thingie, it says that it is at 6pm, do i have to get there earlier, when will it end, i know its like 5 minutes, but when will i actually get out of the municipal court

-How much am I gonna have to pay

-Will I get points on my liscence

-How do I tell my Dad(hes gonna be upset because hes a worry freak and always tells me to drive slow in the right lane and go 60 mph max)

Call the town in which you have to appear in court.  They can tell you how much your ticket will be, and how much court costs will be.  Don't be late....but you don't have to be there real early either.  They generally have a bunch of speeders in the court room, so it really depends on when they call your name.  Once they call your name, it doesn't take long.  They just slap you with the fine, and tell you to go to the cashier and pay the ticket and court costs.  And if you are under 18, you might lose your license.  80 in a 55 is not good.  Also, your insurance might double.
