Speeding tickets and MIP's?

i have an MIP and am off probation in less then a month. i just recieved a speeding ticket today. it was for a 58 in a 45, but he only wrote it for 5 over. will this extend my probation or be catogorized as a violation of probation?

If this is your 1st MIP I would say no,  speeding is a civil infraction not a misdemeanor.  But this is Michigan law, the law is different each state.
