im 17, live in Cali, and have Allstate insurance. Okay so about 9 months ago i got a speeding ticket, went to court, paid the thing off. and right before i went traffic school for it i got another speeding ticket like 6 months later. so i went to traffic school to get rid of the first one. and now i went to court for the second ticket and contested it, my court date is set for the 26th of august. im hoping the cop wont show up so i don't get any points on my licence. but if he does show up, im most likely screwed and will get the ticket. my question is, i heard somewhere that because i got my second ticket within 3 months of getting rid of my first ticket that both tickets will show up on my record , is this true?

  1. Answer is simple, call the county clerks office and ask.  They will be the only ones to give you the correct info about your citation.

If they let you take traffic school again, I would recommend doing it ON-LINE with http://www.TicketRelief.com.  They were quick, easy, and I completed my schooling in a day!

  2. Both tickets will not show up on your record.  The first one by going to traffic school won't show to insurance companies.

Hate to tell you this but cops almost always show up at court these days.  It's overtime for them.  And if it's your word against the cops word the judge always takes the side of the cop.

If they offer you traffic school and it's within 18 mo's of going to traffic school for another violation then the second ticket will show up on DMV records even if you went to traffic school.

  3. Traffic school will help with the first and it should not show up on your record.  The second...it will be there.
