I have read that speedos on fords tend to be slightly overstated in that the indicated speed on them is 4 ro 5 more than the actual speed. Is this correct? Apparently EU law states that cars must not indicated speeds lower than actual speed...therefore car manufacturers ensure that their speedos are slightly higher than truth in order to avoid being sued.....sounds fairly logical?anyone know anything more? Is this correct?
