South African middle-order batsman, Jacques Rudolph stated his spell with the English county side; Yorkshire has helped him get his career back on track.
Despite making a double hundred in his debut Test match, the 30-year-old was never able to fulfill his true potential and consequently was dropped from the national team duties.

The left-hander himself admitted that a successful tenure with Yorkshire has been a blessing for him and he wants youngster to ply their trade in the English county circuit, which will help them gain the necessary experience.
“The whole county experience and playing in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 accounts for the fact that I am where I am today. I think I’m far more mature that I was a few years ago and I know my game pretty well now.
“It was a nice opportunity to play county cricket. A lot of youngsters should do that, you learn a lot about your game. I’m 30 years old now and I am really enjoying my game and I can possibly see myself playing for another couple of years,” he said.
For now, the left-hander will be looking to carry his good form into the first Test and fire on all cylinders, which will help him grab a permanent place in the side.
