Spending 10 billion a month?

Question

The war over in Iraq costs 10 billion a month. Wouldn't that money be better spent on things important in the United States, like more money for improving schools and building more schools, putting money back for social security, more money for more police officers, more money for all of those over crowding jails, etc. etc.

Why spend billions dollars on trying to help a foreign country, even trying to get those terrorists, when your own country has a laundry list of problems that need to be solved?

becasue if the united states of america got to be like iraq i would hope that the superpower of the world would help me out

No, If you haven't heard  we are withdrawing from Iraq in a couple of years thanks to McCain's stance on the surge, That's  counter to what the inexperienced Obama's stance was at the time.

No more troops

No more funding for the troops.
