anyone know how much spending money il need for a week the czech republic il be staying in prague.

If you stay in the center of town, want to eat out and drink a bit, bring about 75 Euro/ 60 Pound/ 1800 Koruna per day, more if you are in an expensive hotel.

If you are thinking on spending big, 100 Euro per day, staying in a cheap hostel a little outside the center of town, self catering, and being frugal, 50 Euro per day should be enough.

Best not to bring the money cash, bring your ATM card, so you can take smaller amounts and get new money when you have spend it all.

Bringing foreign currency as cash is not a problem, there are many exchange offices, but all will charge much more than your bank will do for the fees.

(Check that your bank card is ready for use abroad, and bring 100 Euro in your own money for back up, you can still use it when back home.)
