Spending the night in New Dehli Airport?

I am flying into DEL from the States and will be arriving at night. I am planning on buying a ticket to get to Goa for the next morning and was hoping to stay the night in the airport so that I don't have to pay for a hotel. Is it ok to stay in the airport for the night?

yes, it's fine.

you could also get a room in delhi for less that US$5, and they probably have resting rooms at the airport itself for very cheap.

Yes, if you don't mind the nastiest bathrooms you've ever seen or even dreamed of.

Yup - been there - done that. but if you are looking to freshen up in the morning - beware the toilets are horrendous.

honestly, i wouldnt recommend staying at the airport to anyone.

i would use a B & B - i have used inn @ delhi & am happy to recommend them. slow to load site, i had to press refresh ( F5) for it to load completely - but good hosts  & its safe. if i were you - i would pay to sleep comfortably anywhere rather than sleeping it rough. sleeping at the airport - to save money - is just not worth it!

It is a bit tricky. At DEL, you may not be allowed to enter the domestic airport if your flight is still too far from current time.

Other than that, I think it okay. Restrooms are not as nasty anymore and you will get food and drinks (coffee, tea etc..). You also get to watch TV :-)
