  1. i'm 18 and live with my BF but b4 having my daughter etc etc, my mother never did anything like that, she spent all of her time either working with her BF or spending time with her BF because 'they never see each other' her words not mine.

due to this i am going to make sure me and my daughter have a better relationship, even if that means sacrificing time with my BF.

  2. I'm fifteen years old and honestly teens my age are appalled by the excellent relationship with my mom. I do indeed spend a ton of time with my mother, a ton during the summer.

We love spending time with each other and my mom doesn't mind if I let a friend or two tag along, I think she gets frustrated that she doesn't understand our "teenage lingo" or our inside jokes that we can crack up at that she doesn't understand why it's funny.

I love my mother and we love hanging out, be it go to the pool, Cedar Point (usually we'll bring other people with us because I like get frustrated if I can't go on any of the roller coasters), shopping, etc. We do have a good time together. I guess we're also kind of a like in a way also, so that's why were also able to have such a good mother/daughter relationship but we can both be extremely stubborn and we both hate it when we don't have the last word - so at times we have our fair share of arguments.

Spending time with my mother is pretty fun. She's awesome.

  3. I'm 13 years old and my mom spends time with me! Mother/Daughter time is awesome because I get to spend time with my Mom while doing things that I love to do. Some teenagers don't like spending time with their moms though because they want to spend time with friends, boyfriends, etc. But mother/daughter time helps you bond with your teen. If you and your daughter are close, then she'll be more likely to open up to you. It's up to you, but I say to try to spend time with them! :D Good Luckkk<3

  4. I am a mom but i don't have teens but I would like to say this, when I was a teen my mom was my world and still is to this day. I loved to be with my mom. she was my mother and my best friend. she taught me morals and respect and how to behave, all while being my best friend, like make up tips and her letting me talk about cute boys. she wasn't an uptight mother. Be her friend when your shopping be her mother at home. I guess some how she acted like a teenager herself when we went out together but was strictly mother when we got home.
