Spetember long weekend getaway??

any suggestions for september long weekend? I am located in San diego and looking for a lovely place with a nice weather in USA

First off, let me agree with the last guy.

San Diego spoils you as well.  Next to Hawaii, San Diego Calf. probably has the most consistant weather in our nation.  70 - 90 almost year round. correct me if i'm wrong.  

If you do vacation else where, prepare for weather.  For those of you in So-Cal, that could be rain, mist, fog ect.  Lol.

In Alaska leaves are already turning and the endless summer is coming to a swift close.  Cold nights w/nice views of arora-borialis.

In New England, Chances of cooler nights, though the trees haven't changed over yet.

Indian summer has hit the midwest.  Beautiful days and cooler nights.   Heavenly dryness.

Or the Gold coast of Oregon.  You always said that you were going to spent your reclusive honeymoon there.  With good reason.  The picturesque coast has few tourists that time of year.  And the wonders of the shoreline await you.
