Spice finch-Star finch....?

Question

Can anyone tell me if both or either or these birds are

hardy

good breeders

what are their diet needs

cage size needed ?

any help would be truly appreciated, Thanks !

Spice Finches are tropical birds.  They primarily feed on seeds, and they frequent open woodland and cultivation.  The Spice finch will prefer the larger seeds of a parakeet mix to the smaller kind.  They build large domed grassy nests and lay 4–10 white eggs in their natural habitat.

Star Finches inhabit grassland and savanna habitats out in the wild.  Their species is threatened by cage-bird trades, btw.   They usually eat a finch-food-mix with a wide variety of seeds.  I'm not sure what their clutch size is though.
