I never really use the spice in the ground beef, because I usually put beans in my taco's. So what other things can I use the spice for?

  1. how come you cant put the spice in with the beans? wont it taste even better? i just had those tacos about a 1/2 hour ago...delicious

  2. Are you talking about Old El Paso?  If so, why don't you use the seasoning with the beef?  I buy the low sodium OEP seasoning so if salt is what you are worried about, it still has all the flavor.  If you want your meat to be bland, go ahead and put them in the beans.  Personally, I re-fry my beans in a little bacon grease with scorched garlic and pepper.  When I make the meat, I use the seasoning to brown the meat, not boil it in like the directions say.  I have tons of compliments on my tacos!  I made them tonight and everyone loved them.  Also, I always put beans on my tacos too.  A thin layer on the shells before putting the meat in keeps them from crumbling when you take a bite.

  3. Old de Paso(?), jeeze get it right!
