Spices or seasonings for pan-fried codfish?

I'm frying up some codfish, and I was wondering what would go well as a seasoning for flavor? I added butter, salt, and pepper..what else can I add to make it tasty? Thanks!

  1. true butter, minced garlic, garlic salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, pepper corns, a little white wine, maybe a little cayanne pepepr if you want to give it a little heat (but not too much)..or you can go very simple because it is a light white fish that would be garlic and butter, and fresh lemon juice, even a little minced up parsely is good to


  2. Garlic salt, Onion salt, Johnny's, Cayenne, Curry, or whateverelse you like.

  3. lemon pepper, fresh lemon or lime juice, Old Bay seasoning, garlic, paprika, a dash of cayenne pepper

    just don't do all of the above at once :)

    I would melt some butter in a pan if I were you, then toss in some parsley (preferably fresh) and some lemon juice for a tasty lemon butter sauce.

    Creole seasoning blend or seasoned salt
