Spider Plant Care , I need help

My Spider plant has brown tips on the leaves, I have recently changed from tap water to distilled water...should I trim the brown tips or leave them on ???

  1. Using distilled water is good move. Just trim off the brown tips. With the distilled water you shouldn't have anymore problems.


  2. Browning of leaf tips can be caused by low humidity, overfeeding and/or allowing plant to dry out.Spider plants prefer moist soil at all times, tolerates low humidity and light, but thrives in moderate light and high humidity. Feed once a month in spring, summer and fall.

    Yes, you can trim brown tips with clean scissors, wiped with rubbing alcohol or white vinegar.
