  1. chuck liddell in his prime would crush him like a cracker

  2. Of course he will be taken down, he  already has a few losses under his belt.  And let's be honest here, he really hasn't faced a ton of top-quality competition.

I'm not saying that he hasn't beaten some good fighters, IE Rich Franklin, but he hasn't exactly been facing only the top guys either.

He is good, but I don't think he is unbeatable.  I think that if Arlovski doesn't beat Fedor this October, Silva will be the first to lose among the two.

  3. Not in his division but once he gets to the elite level Light heavy weights that's when real testing begins. Lets just hope this stuff about him not wanting to disrespect the light heavy weights dose not stop Dana from Getting him in some good light heavy weight fights. Once he beats Wanderlei Silva and his good friend Lyoto Machida then in my book He's number one in the UFC and not just weight division wise. He'll be the guy point blank. Then they can take him and pit him against Fedor somehow and if I get my way Silva will beat Fedor to

  4. He will lose someday, I mean he has to right? the guy is amazing. Just watching him is history in the making like watching Jordan in his prime.

  5. I don't see anyone at 185 beating A. Silva.  I think Dan Henderson has the best shot in a rematch at 185 but if he beat him I would be surprised.

At 205 there are several people I think could beat him.  Irvin went into that match with the idea of outstriking the best striker in MMA.  Not a good idea. If a big 205 pounder who was a good grappler with a good game plan were to fight Spider Silva I think Anderson could be defeated.  I know Randy Couture is not in the UFC or a 205 pounder anymore but he fits the bill of being a big 205 pounder with great wrestling and great game plans.  I also feel L. Machida, C. Liddel, R. Evans, and maybe even Forrest Griffin would be too much for Anderson Silva to handle at 205.

  6. Everybody falls.

  7. it may be a while before he is defeated. I think a great striker may be able to catch him. Someone like Chuck could drop him with one blow and I believe that is the only way to stop him right now. I know Silva is the best striker in the world, but he is also excellent at bjj. Look at some of the impressive wins he has had on the ground. I think 205 might be the best weight class for him, for one there is no competition at the 185 level, and second, he trains and walks around every day life at 215 to 220, so he wouldn't be too small at 205 as some people think. Time will tell, but I think Chuck has the best shot of beating him.

  8. Yes he will, everybody does. The problem is that it might take 2yrs or so. Look at the past champions, they seemed invincible, but loses sometime. I think Lyoto Machida has a chance, but they will not fight each other because they are good friends and training partners. Maybe, the guy that will beat A. Silva hasn't turned pro yet.

  9. one word. fedor.
