Spider bite followed by rash?

About a week and a half ago, me and my fiancee went camping for a family reunion. When we got home he noticed that he had a spider bite that was pretty red and has a dark 'head' on it... almost purple. At first he thought he had thought it was a tick and dug the purple part out. Turns out it wasn't but after that the bite started to heal and go away. This was about 4 days ago.

Tonight he came home on break and there was a slight rash around it. I read up on the brown recluse and it said if it were that spider it would have been pretty bad by now so I know it wasn't that spider.

He also works in a bunny suit (a coverall outfit that can be very hot).

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was another spider that could cause a rash like this or if it could just be a heat rash or something.

It could be a boil caused by staph infection. Take him to the doctor and have it checked just to be sure. Good Luck
