Spider help?

I found a spider on the outside of my house, it was shiney black with extremely long legs, he had a bright red hourglass and above that hourglass he had a big white spot. Is this a black widow? All of the pictures i have seen online of black widows show the hourglass but don't show this white spot.

yes in the US the red hourglass means a Black Widow, but just curious how can there be white spot ? or it's a Zebra Jumping Spider?:

The red hourglass pretty much means it was a black widow.  It may have been young because they have white spots when young.

i would squish it before it starts a widow farm in your back yard

Catch it. If you don't, it'll have babies all over your house.
