Spiders in Cuba?

Question

Hi Travelling to Veradero in Cuba in June. Dont mind most insects but hate big spiders and know they got a few! Anyone stayed there who can advice me on this. More worried about them being in my bungalow in resort mostly. Thanks

I got bit by a spider in Cayo Guillermo. Was at the bar, and felt something bite me, looked at my stomache to see a bigass spider. I just flicked it off and am still alive 8 years later, so my guess is there aren't really any dangerous spiders there. I could be wrong though.
