  1. I have had this thearpy a couple of times. One time was 20 session in 6 weeks, the other was maintainace. It can be very effective if you truley have compressed discs.

Its not painful, but a little boring, laying there for 20 plus minutes being strapped down.

As with anything involving "doctors", listen to your body and how you feel, and be in control of your thearapies.

  2. You can decompress your spine at home with a inversion table.Works just as good at a fraction of the cost. Check it out on the web. I use one every day and it is great!

  3. I have heard of this treatment.  It seems quite a bit money to pay out to be honest.  When I was younger I had meningitis and they thought the bacteria was growing in my right hip.  The put me in traction for a week as they thought that it may affect the growth in my right leg.  They told me that when the hip/spine area needs 'stretched' they do this but that I could also help it when I got home by hanging upside down.  This helps to space the discs out and keep the fluid between them.  I do this once a week now and it certainly helps me and it is free.
