I do martial arts at school, and we were doing all these yoga like stretches and my spine started to tingle. It was really uncomfortable and a few days have passed but now my lower back, will just all of a sudden start stinging, it feels like pins and needles, and its really uncomfortable.

I don't know whats wrong, and now im starting to get the stinging in my arms and other parts of my body.

What should I do? Because its really uncomfortable and it hurts...

Many thanks

  1. It sounds like you have a pinched nerve. That's when part of your nerve is trapped by your spine. If this happened at school you should you should inform your principal, this particualtr exercise sounds like a bad idea. A cool bath should help bring the swelling down.

Lay on your back pull your knees and head together SLOWLY and help releave the pressure on the nerve that got tangled. You may have also slipped a disk. meaning that not only is a nerve or two tagle but one of your spinal disks have shifted. Drink lots of water and add cod liver oild or any oil for that matter to help smooth out the disk. Ice will help bring the swelling down.

Move slowly at all times right now.

IT should shift back into place in time. But to be safe talk to a sports specialist. They specialize in this kind of injury.

  2. see a doctor.

    or get some pain killers
