Spirit stick??

ok so i wanna make a spirit stick for cheerleading but i dont exactly know how..... so does any one know how???

Some of the spirit sticks that are used are meant to be returned or passed on to the next person.  I like this idea because you can make up lots of them in advance and don't have to rely on someone to return it.

I don't know about the cheerleader ID card, but it would definitely be fun to find school spirit related items from the dollar store or whatever to make receiving the spirit stick even more fun.

Using a clean Pringles chip can...spray paint the outside one of your team colors.

Use ribbon, both thick, thin or wired, to wrap around the can, decorating with glitter glue (emblems like a bear paw for Bears, for example), use stickers, metallic pens, or anything you can think of pertaining to your team. Stuff the inside with candy, maybe a bead keychain (keeping costs down-you can make these yourself), and print out 'Official Cheerleader' ID cards you can make on a computer using Word or some other simple program.

You can find images online for the ID cards, glue the wallet-sized ones to colored paper or card stock, trip with fancy scissors...and ta-da. If you want to get fancier, laminate or use clear contact paper and make real ID cards. Make sure the girls can sign them if they want to though.

Just an idea. We pass these around every week to the girl showing the most spirit at practice for the week. Each girl will get it at least once so as to no hard feelings, but they are REALLY trying to win it each time. Has made for better practices.

Spray paint your team colors. and then tie your team color ribbons on it and write the name of your team on it in balck then hand them out.

Use the Foam Noodle  that you use at the swimming pool. Cut to the length you want and decorate ;)))))))))))
