Spirited Black set to sizzle at Romford – A1 Race Preview
Spirited Black seems to be packed with spirit ahead of his entry in the Grade A1 race which is set to be held at Romford racecourse on Wednesday night, March 21.
The A. Ingram-trained black dog will compete against Lolos Lee, Galtee Alfie, Marlfield Elsom, Hightop Sacco and Lughill Ian for the prize money worth £135.
The high-voltage contest of 400m Flat distance is scheduled to start at 22:13 (GMT). Each of the six hounds is fully prepared to show his/her guts in the mega marathon.
Spirited Black marvellously finished first in his last outing on March 13, 2012. Prior to this, the maverick runner had achieved a runner-up rank each in two consecutive races during the first month of the calendar year.
The son of Rumble Impact out of Millwards Thebes bagged a decent victory too on January. During the last two months of the last year, the talented hound accomplished three triumphs---two in November and one in December.
Overall, the veteran dog owns a fabulous track record. Since making his debut in May 2011, he has been performing with great consistency.
Spirited Black has accomplished a number of glaring feats to date. He is expected to show a big run again in tonight’s contest and walk away with another glorious success. His chances to finish first in the race are as high as 90 percent.
Out of the other runners, Hightop Sacco and Lolos Lee look to be strong enough and each of the duo will perform well in the event.
Hightop Sacco grabbed an epic victory in the first month of 2012. During the first two decades of the calendar month, the P. Young-trained black dog earned a runner-up rank along with a triumph. As a whole, the son of Droopys Scolari out of High St Fortune
has been a regular winner throughout his career
On the other hand, Lolos Lee elegantly finished first by 2 ½ lengths in her second last outing on February 29, 2012. The trainee of P. Young won two consecutive races each during November-December 2010 and January 2011.
In this situation, there will be neck-and-neck competition at Romford track tonight. Let us see how the hot favourite runner manages to make his way towards victory. Good luck to the dog.
