Spirited Chai Biao and Guo Zhendong prove their mettle in Men’s Doubles clash at Thomas Cup Finals
China’s young and spirited shuttlers Chai Biao and Guo Zhendong proved their impressive craft when they trounced England’s Chris Langridge and Peter Mills in Men’s Doubles encounter at Thomas Cup Finals 2012 on Sunday, May 20, in China.
China won this team-event contest against England with a 5-0 difference without losing any fight in any category.
In the second Men’s Doubles clash Biao and Zhendong, who are currently positioned at number 5 in Men’s Doubles world standings, put up thrilling show of top class badminton and managed to thrash their rivals in a comprehensive fashion.
The higher ranked Biao and Zhendong were on a different level while playing against their English opponents.
On the other hand, the lower ranked Langridge and Mills could not display their remarkable skills as they were helpless against the elevated play of their talented Chinese opponents and lost the contest in two sets in just 32 minutes.
In the first game of this contest, the higher ranked Biao and Zhendong stamped their supremacy over their rivals without wasting any time.
