Spirits and ghost?

Question

are there really ghost or spirits in peoples houses . and are there really spirits in a house when people hear weird noises like laughter of children or people talking or are people just on drugs imagining things . im asking this question because my brother lives in a house where supposively he heres like children playing and laughing . and if you have furniture in a house which their are spirits and you say for example give away like furniture can a spirit or ghost go along with it or no. and what is a ouija board......... oh and does anybody no that one movie about a guy who stays at a hotel and he survives with all the weird spirits going on . the title is based on a room number . that movie was really good but i dont remember the name ... it deals alot with this kind of stuff

The movie is '1408' based off a short story (I believe it's a short story, correct me if i'm wrong) by Stephen King.

It's a horror story and nothing more, based around the psychological damage that was repressed by a man, leading to his death (in the movie, anyway). The room wasn't a ghost, by the way.

It was a monster.

As for the haunted house ideals- I believe in ghosts, strongly. They play on one of my darkest fears. Although I have never been haunted, I have had half awake moments where I have been in a dream-like state, however, and have seen projections of dead people.

But thats my own screwed up psyche.

ok this might be long but her is some answers:

1. yes ghosts exist & it may be because the died in the house or that is  where they feel most comfortable or they did something in theyre past life that they lay their soul to rest. Children laughter in a house may be a sign of the previous person living in the house & the children died in the the house or maybe the person that lived in it before ( not to scare you) might have very well been a child molester.

2. If you sell furniture it may very well be "posessed". Only because of the person that owned it before, mmay have been attatched to it (for example) - at my fathers house i have my fgrandma's furniture shes passed but whenever i would lay in her bed i would look over in the mirror & see her in it it scared me but i couldent stop staring it was like a train wreck.

3.a Oujia board it to summon passed spirits some work some dont mostly like ones est. in like the 16-18 hundreds work or even in  the 60's work but i dont reccommend going to target & picking one up from parker brothers. ;)

4.yes i saw that movie in theatres it was like room # 1412 or something like that i for got the actor but he was a writer in the movie yes it was very good.

ghosts are spirits but these spirits are not of the deceased rather they are demons

demons are deceptive and impersonate things  which they are not if one is following something it is because it has gained permission/entrance somehow to do so

Well there is nothing like ghosts , but i believe is there is another world in another dimension which we cant see but is living with us.And they have special qualities than us.We have heard about 3 dimension world in which we live in but there may be another dimension 4th or 5th in which they live , cause of which we can't see or hear them but some times can be captured in a camera or something like that.Yeah sometimes when their sounds escapes their dimension , it reaches us .And some , from their world , wantedly do this to scare us .

well, some people claim they have proof, and others try to disclaim it. i think ghosts and/or spirits are real. whats to say they arent? physics? in matters such as these, there is no right or wrong, there is only what you believe, what you think you know, and, what you can/cant prove. the little part of your head that thinks, the little voice that tells you wrong or right, the one that makes sense of the world for you, why cant that be here after your body isnt? i dont feel that that thought for lack of a better term could just go away. everyone has a consious and a sub consious, but your soul? could that have a consious and a sub consious too? maybe the little thought is the consious, and your soul itself is the sub consious... i am not trying to offend anyone, but if it does i appologize, but i think what i think, and i will not change it unless my beliefs change.

the next q: well, certain ghosts i suppose who had a history with a particular item or just wanted to follow someone, could latch onto it and follow it home i think. i dont see a reason or even a possible theory as to why they couldnt. i may be wrong, but i think that any spirit or ghost who is capable of thinking thought (or appears to be able to) can do whatever it wishes. i also think that spirits or ghosts that are maybe the way they are for a deed they did in their former life might be doomed to relive what they did. i think everyone has a h**l and a heaven that they make up as they travel through life. a horrible deed that a person has done that they regret, may make up part of their h**l, but maybe a trip to a beautiful place may make up their heaven. i think some spirits or ghosts are stuck doing what they did in their life to torture them, to make them truely feel the pain of their deeds.

and the movie is 1408.

First off, yes, ghosts and spirits are real. I deal with them almost on a daily basis.

No, not usually, spirits are stuck in the house.  The most that can happen is if the spirit hangs around a piece of furniture long enough, some of it's energy might imprint on the furniture.  But the spirit stays where it is.

Ouija Boards, I can sum them up in one word,TROUBLE,  they are dangerous and shouldn't be messed with.  It's better that you not know what they are.  There are safer ways to talk to spirits.

yeah i believe in ghosts not becuase of what i hear but becuase of what ive seen with my own eyes. I've seen shadows walking around in a window on the second story of a house were those no actual room if that makes sense..like seeing a shadow walking around in a room when there actually is no room. I've seen a woman hanging clothes in my room when i was outside at night. I've heard people walking on my roof at midnight and hitting my windows and walls.My dad has woken up the next day with scratch marks on his back and a bite mark on his ankle were the teeth impressions were crooked. Many more stuff. It's hard to believe but once you expierience it yourself you'll believe in what im saying. Anyways all this is true...so yeah i believe in all of it ghosts, spirits, demons, witches you name it. well thats all i got on me right now. take care :D

Well, its basicly up to personal opinon. I for one believe their are ghosts and that infact my house is haunted, and I dont run around on lsd inside tripping out and then claiming it. If you want to learn more about ghosts or test your opinon about them, you could always try simple things like evp's etc. you may eventually be surprised about what you get.

yeah i believe in ghost becoz i have a lot of experience with that and the most scary happens in our own house,.. if they can experience weird things it means there is a ghost or spirits living with them... maybe a person attach to that house or to the person living in that house,.. dont be afraid of ghost they wont hurt you,.. but yes there are some bad spirits,.. wel...i dont reali know wther its true or not...bt i SORTA belive in all dat stuff...n i dnt think the ghosts live in "furniture" they mayb just roam around in the house no in a particular thing...and there are many movies based on true stories of possesions and ghost..for example -american haunting....the exorcism of emily rose..etc...bt agen im not realy sure if they realy exist i just beleive in them because many things have happned in my family....related 2 possesions and all...which my mom told me..so i gues they CAN be for real

yes, there are spirits.  they talk to people.  they don't read minds - they hear and see what is going on, so they might not understand everything.  you can talk to them - just like praying.  I think it helps to know that you are not alone.

the movie is called "1408" and very good.  alot of people believe in spirits but ones who havent exprienced usually dont believe. i have had alot of unexplainable things happen including saving my childrens lives! i was asleep and a woman said ur baby is sick wake up n i did to find her with a 104 temp! another time the same voice said ur baby cant breath wake up n i did to fing him wrapped up in a quilt.he was 1 and would have sufficated. still have alot more lol. but follow ur instinctes and u should find ur anwer about it being real.
