  1. There are many types of healing today, and what type to try depends a lot on what your emotional or physical issue is. For certain kinds of physical problems or injuries, a physical therapist or a massage therapist may be most helpful. For other issues, some kind of spiritual healing or reiki is recommended.

As you probably know, reiki involves sending energy from the practitioner to the client. This energy is also called ki, chi, prana, manna, and other names depending on the language.

I am not sure what you mean by spiritual healing. I consider reiki to be one form of spiritual healing. If energy healing, like reiki, chakra balancing or spiritual healing, is what you are interested in, I think that one of the most important issues is to be with a practitioner who you can really connect with emotionally. In other words, you want to see someone who seems compassionate and really cares about you. Also, you should see someone you think is really good as a healer. Maybe you have heard that this person has helped many people.

To me, the main issue is not whether someone pracitices reiki or spiritual healing. There is no right treatment that is going to help everyone. What I suggest is that you look for a healer who has compassion and the ability to help you emotionally or physically.

  2. Spiritual Healing.

There is something about reiki and many of the people it attracts.

I have had both and spiritual wins hands down every time.

  3. I believe they are both just as good if they are well done in the true spirit of the healing.

What you have to watch for are practitioners who smoke. Smoking destroys the aura and these people should not work on clients before they've resolved their smoking issue.

Watch out also for practitioners who feel very tired after having given you a session. That means they are passing on their own energy instead of just being a channel for the universal or spiritual energy. That's no good. You don't want someone else's energy. (Literally, you don't know where it's been!).

Take care and all the best!

  4. since myself and Darren G are in fact the same person there is no point me answering as well.

  5. tried Reiki but not really too sure about the experience

  6. I have experienced both and do intuitive energy healing myself.  Reiki is an amazing thing and I would suggest both; however go to valid practitioners.  Messing with someone that doesn't know what they're doing can cause adverse effects, to say the least.  Great question.

  7. As a spiritual healer for twenty years i can explain why it works.

:> with adjustment to your muscles through the healing  hands the Peripheral or surface muscles relax and bring about initial relaxation of the body. This in turn allows the bigger Skeletal muscles also to greatly relax putting the person totally at ease. now the immune system can start the job it is meant to do, that is heal you own body.

All healing whether by doctors, surgeons, by acid, drugs scalpel all come down to the same thing :> the body itself has to heal  itself with the aid of these procedures. That is the simple truth.  Providing you have a well trained operator neither of these treatments can do you any harm.

  8. Personally, I would choose Reiki (being a practitioner myself) because of its versatility. If neither worked, then it would have died out a very long time ago. Rather, it's increasing in popularity. In addition, the placebo does not constitute the whole practice. It is largely, based on real energy manipulation.

I'm not sure if other's experiences are different, but ever since i got the attunement last year, My hands have been getting much hotter than usual throughout the day. Sometimes it even gets clammy and I find myself washing my hands much more often.

  9. I am a Reiki Master and do both Reiki and Intuitive Healing. For more information check out my website: http://www.wyndwalkerstudio.com

    I, personally, prefer Intuitive Healing.

  10. I teach Spiritual Healing and it is gentle and kind to all, it causes one to relax and the body does the healing once it has received the power of the universe within it.

In Spiritual Healing one is given the power to help others by the Universe, Christ or whoever one believes in.

With Reiki the power is passed on from the source of the Reiki who gained it form the Universe.

In essence having tried both, spiritual healing is wonderful and I am not sure about reiki.

  11. My neighbor is really big on reiki.

He tried to soothe my grandma's back with it,

But according to her it didn't make a difference.

I'll respect anyones opinion on it,

But I never believed in that stuff, I think it's kinda immature.

  12. If one truly meditate and heal other,it has more effect.yes i have experienced spiritual healing.

  13. they are both utter nonsense

If you are ill, speak to an educated medical doctor.

If you are not ill, don't waste your time, money or life on this embarrassing c**p.
