Question:

Spiritually Speaking, Should Y/A Do This?

Since we are becoming increasingly tired of answering the same questions daily by people who can't be bothered to use the search function, why not have a little "post-it" next to our answer windows that allows us to put answers in there that we can just insert whenever we need to....you know, instead of always typing "This question has been asked 100 times"

Thoughts?

  1. I was very helpful when they showed you if your question had been asked before as you typed your question....

  2. True....but most people ask the same question literally. They say I know I asked this already but? so I agree with you but doubt it will happen....great idea though!

I remember they did have a pop-up where it said similar asked questions so I am hoping they can bring that back as well.

  3. I know where you're coming from but nah. I don't mind it keeps me sharp and every so often there is a little twist to the question that will make it interesting.

  4. If you are tired, then skip it or stay away. I am happy people still ask questions, and there are new people all the time here. I am here to spread the word of God and His Gospel, the good news that God loves us all. That never gets old. God's Word is the same past and present and future. You cannot say the same thing about the science. The text books change all the time

  5. amen girl!

i have never thought of that but i think its the best idea!

you should go to a person and ask them to help you add that.....

  6. No, that would just make it easier for religious nuts to paste long boring bible verses.

  7. good idea.

  8. I don't think it's Y!A's fault so much as it is the stupidity of the general population.

The funny thing is, when one asks a question, there is a list that pops up to the side with a heap of similar questions. Most people tend to ignore this when they are asking dead horse questions like "Does God exist?". For what reason, I have no bloody clue.

But I think that it should be more obvious, like it should pop up as a little speech bubble next to the frame. That might help dissuade daft individuals from asking the same question over an over.

  9. Fine idea.  But getting yahoo to do anything for members is akin to getting George Bush to stop the "war on terror" on Saturday.

  10. Yes, that would be cool! xD

  11. maybe the people asking all those questions haven't found the answer they are looking for or still do not understand the answer given to them...... you can chose which questions to answer
