I never had a nickname!!! Well, back in high school they used to call me Joker b/c of my wide smile and bright red lipstick (just like a 17 yr old in the *ahem* early 90's) but that was short lived.

Do you have a lifelong nickname, did you ever WANT to have a different name?

  1. Anubis- the Egyptian God of Death and Judgment

I was called Demon though, So I tacked on Arctic to make Arctic Demon.

  2. Beth as it is my middle name and people said I was a lot like Beth in Little Women.

  3. I've had several.

My name is Amy, and when I was very young my father coined me "Amos." It stuck like glue, a last name was added, and throughout my childhood I was known as Amos McGillocutty.

During my teen years I was known a "Fish," because I am a Pisces.

Finally, I am now known as "Ant Cammie" to my nieces and nephews. Ant, because one of my nephews, when signing a card he sent me, misspelled "aunt." I loved it.

And I am Cammie, not Amy, because the above-mentioned nephew's little brother, when coming to spent a few weeks with me, asked his mother, "How much longer until we get to Aunt Cameron's?"

Ant Cammie it is, and I'm quite certain I will carry that moniker to my grave.

    Nice question.

  4. I had nicknames in my High school days based from my initials. In that case. They would be lifelong. I'll be honestly shocked if someone even called out them now.

  5. I had one. Back in high school. Mine was "God". To those who think I'm joking, I'm not.

  6. "Crash"

You kidding? I thank God that my parents started my first name with a K, rather than a C.

    Always liked the name "Jim"

    ((Hope))
