This is a family matter. Not political. Sarah Palin is unfit for office. I'm sure she'll make a fine grandmother, which is her best choice.

Moldenke is dead on. I live in an abstinence-only state when it comes to s*x ed. We have the highest teen pregnancy rate in the nation.

I was more impressed with McCain's interview on TV last night.  The one where her being president of the local PTA made her qualified for the vice presidency.

I am indifferent about it. I mean thousands of teenagers every year get pregnant so its not like its shocking or anything. I do think it will really hurt her abstinence only stand point though. s*x ed needs to be taught and she more than anyone else should know that.

Being straightforward is so much better than trying to hide your skeletons in a closet.  Eventually those bones start to clacking and people begin jumping to conclusions.  It's much better to just let the truth be the truth and move on.

If she hadn't made this announcement, someone in the press would have found out and made it sound much more serious than it is.
