  1. We are pro-life because we believe in defending and protecting the defenseless.

We are pro gun because we believe in defending and protecting the defenseless.

  2. I think it is if you have an owner of a gun that can't help a potential suicide victim.  But if you are pro masturbation, aren't you then pro choice?  If you are pro life, why would you m********e, especially if you are a male, right?

We have a long way to go, mankind...to get to some logical reasonable non violent ways to live by.  Perhaps technology and new cults will help.

Life does not always seem FAIR!

Hi!  I am a Forgive Affirmed Spirit and this is what I profess and try to act like.

Forgive Affirmed Spirit is the belief in a way of life that is a method of grief resolution and functional communication processing involving active listenning, sympathy, empathy and affirmation of shock, denial, anger, guilt, depression, loneliness and hope...a kind of ego-equilibrium seeking methodology.

A Greater Works of communication and action, a way to learn to love your enemies "Advocating mortal life, Do unto others as you would have them do unto you AS IF YOU WERE THEM!"

And nobody is perfect!  NOBODY!  We are all judgeable, hopefully in a graceful discerning way!   We are all doing our best every moment!

Humans judge everything  as we are a part of it.  Without difference, we have nothing to live for, nothing to witness.  Sin is difference, the relative seriousness with regards to law and survival of other beings, is punishable by the courts. The best way to judge is with as much graceful discernment as one can muster in a given moment!

Life is the question(uncertainty) asked by the exhaling infinitely compacted imagination invention, or no thing, which is completely certain of everything, completely omniscient or all knowing.

When I die, I believe I will be in a new state, aware of all that is and yet divided into the nature of dust that I am in, whereupon my dust shall fall.  My being will remain an infinite part of an infinite being and infinite knowledge without my material human being status of now. So there will be a change.

But my soul, my passions and discompassions, will move on to infinite places of comfort and challenge.  Able to return to this state of uncertainty and free choice illusion for another ride when it is called effectively to do so.

So that the children of God, the creations of God, .. are actually part in parcel of that God or Creation Energy!

This  life is a roller coaster ride. Enjoy your passion within it and whatever gathering of two or more in Forgive Affirmed Spirit to make it better can garner.

Healing be unto you and yours and me and mine in

    Forgive Affirmed Spirit

  3. Pro life means that the innocent should live.  Pro gun means the guilty should at least hurt!

  4. It is contradictory to me.

I often wonder how many fundies here support the NRA.

  5. The christian mind is a warped mind.

  6. Oh man that is exactly what I'm thinking! It really makes no sense why the typical conservative is pro-life and yet fits the bill of the typical gun-toting redneck. Its good to be pro-life, but what is the point of saving some fetuses when they'll only grow up to be shot in the head by some ignorant trigger-happy fool.

Those are my sentiments exactly. It is uncanny how the GOP and NRA are such good running buddies.

  7. Liberals are for abortion, but against the death penalty. There are contradicties on both sides. That is prbaly why I never end up voting

  8. Do you really expect people to make sense???

  9. bah, everybody should be pro gun.

    Let the down voting begin!

  10. Both are Constitutional.

"Life, liberty and pursuit of happiness."  Freedom of speech.  Freedom of religion.

Second amendment/ right to bear arms.

  11. Actually it is man. Not as much that it is logically..but you mean spiritually speaking..it is against their religion as well. A gun is a weapon used to kill. Having a gun for protection is like a premeditated murder waiting for the first threat to your family. If they have faith in God, they would not need a gun in the first place. Some people are probably asking if I would just let a rapist/murderer come into my home and rape my wife and children and kill us all????!!..  but that question contradicts my statement above... The odds of that happening are not worth me even worrying about, and if it happens, then it happens. There is no real answer to justify being pro gun or against guns..  the pro gun people will always find an argument to win their side like ..  "If we outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns."  Which could be true, but look at Japan..  hardly any deaths compared to the USA staggering numbers. I think taking away the guns could cause more trouble than just leaving it as be. Am I pro gun? I really can't answer yes or no to that question.

As for the pro life part..  Not all conservatives are both pro life and gun. Pro life could just be your standpoint on the issue of if a fetus is a baby or not. I myself would never abort a baby, but that's just me. I think that is the business of the person who is in control. I do wish they would have the baby and let it be adopted though. But that's just my personal opinion.

  12. Not at all.  "Pro-Gun" is a shorthand name for defending the right of citizens to protect themselves, their neighbors, and their societies from attack.  The purpose of trained armed citizenry is to protect the constitution from criminals in the government.  The "Pro-Life" issue is another matter.  It is NOT true that all conservatives take both stands.

It is ill-advised to equate the quaint shorthand nicknames for issues and the issues themselves.  There lays misstep.

  13. Although it may appear to you to be contradictory, it isn't.  Obviously guns are made primarily to kill people, however, the people that are most likely to be killed, are those that have initiated some act, which threatens peaceful people.  This act would be the type that hurts, injures maims, or kills another.

  14. Everybody should get the chance to deserve to be shot.

    What's wrong with that?

  15. IDK. Politics makes about as much sense as religion so it's not a surprise they'd be bedfellows. It's right or left! No making rational decisions on each issue. Sigh.

They always leave us with a choice between the devil and the deep blue sea. 300 million people and we have to choose between these two? Ugh!

  16. I've owned guns all my life and never killed any one. I'll bet there are millions of gun owners out there in America who can say the same thing. I am also pro life and never had an abortion in my family. So how would you feel if you were being beaten robbed and raped and a pro life cop shot the bugger to save your judgmental backside? Where would you stand on that?

  17. I don't remember anyone performing an abortion with a gun. How would this question be contradictory?

  18. Of course its contradictory. But thats just one of their problems.
