I loved it, laughed all thought the movie. I thought the movie offered a lot in many different areas. Too bad some took it so serious. Because the movie had a good message. Not to mention that laughter is good for the soul.

  1. Yes, Bruce Almighty was a great movie, very funny.

I think the moral of the movie is to not use power in a bad way, but to use it in a good way like Bruce (I think) and the depiction of God as Morgan Freeman was right on. (:

  2. saw it. it's pretty funny. i believe God has a sense of humor. you can't be uptight about things, especially small things like movies... otherwise, life is pretty dull.

also, if something as trivial as a movie can shake the foundations of your faith, perhaps your faith is what you should be watching.

  3. it was funny and good to watch once.

  4. I thought it was hilarious. It used to be one of my favourite movies actually... the part where he makes Evan talk and is like "I do da cha cha like a sissy girl" ohh thats hilarious lol. But yeah I love that movie... and Im an atheist.. I didnt watch it as a movie about religion though I watched it like it was just a regular entertaining movie...

  5. i was never closer to walking out on a movie than that one. it was appaling. my friend warned me against going but im a big fan of Jim Carey so I went. I shoulda listened, it was very offensive

  6. It's ironic that Morgan Freeman, who played God, was in a car wreck the other day. A good movie though, quite funny.

  7. If God exists and looks like Morgan Freeman...that's Cool!

  8. It was mildly entertaining. Morgan Freeman is desperate for any role he can get these days....great actor though

  9. I bet those that say it was offensive were those racists christians that lost their MINDS when they realized the movie writer's view of god was a black man.  OH how I wish I was sitting next to them in the theater when Freeman first came on screen.  I bet they felt better when that stupid looking religious movie with steve carrel came out.

I saw Bruce Almighty and don't usually dig religious based movies, but I laughed a few times.  Glad I saw it from home from RedBox and not the theater, though.

  10. Not bad for one of those Jim Carrey comedies.

  11. it waz alright
