Spiritually speaking has anyone seen or heard from the poster RU486?

She was depressed last I saw and I am very concerned for her. Also how does your faith view depression?

Saw a few posts but haven't see any lately . I view depression as a treatable condition . The best treatment I have found is self examination to find why you are depressed . This takes complete self honesty though and most people let things like religion get in the way .

She sent me an e-mail after I responded to her question about pro-lifers being happy if she was dead. I tried to be as encouraging as possible. I haven't seen anything from her since then, but I don't see her all the time. I hope everything is okay. She really does battle with depression.

My faith views depression as a personal struggle for some people. Sometimes it's a genetic predisposition, sometimes it's an inability to deal with life traumas. I believe that God can really be a strength and support in times of depression and I have found the book of Psalms to be especially encouraging during my own times of depression. I've battled with depression most of my life, but it's much better now that I don't have to deal with people face to face much anymore.

Edit - I just sent her another e-mail through YA asking her to get in touch with me and telling her I care. It was sent, but I can't access her profile. I don't know if that means she might have been suspended or not. I'll try to let you know if she responds to me.

She answered several of my questions a week or so ago, and after seeing your post I looked back through those questions in order to find her profile. I thought I might be able to see if she's been active recently.

What I found was...nothing. Her answers have been removed from my questions.

I have a habit of extending the answering deadline, which would have allowed her ample time to delete all of her answers to make a clean disappearance.  There's the possibility  she has been deleted, which would just be another blow for her to deal with.  I don't recall any of her answers to my questions being offensive.

She wasn't in my contacts so I have no way to locate her. I feel that you have a reason to be concerned, and I can only hope that she turns up soon. Maybe asking this question on Tuesday  when the weekday crowd returns from the holiday will yield better results.

I'm sorry I have nothing positive to share.
