  9. Spiritually speaking, that is a dualistic limitation.  In reality it is obvious that it is both and neither at the same time.

  10. spiritually speaking  my or anybody's glass is half full now.the emty portion in the glass was the time/age/experience ,-life- etc..is spent.so at every time our glass has some thing that remaineed after some thing that was /is spent.

  11. In fact, every one of us, is like the full cup.Only out of ignorance, we think that our life is fulfilled half or not. Let us look at the question, this way.

A university professor went to visit a famous Zen master.

While the master quietly served tea, the professor talked about Zen. The master poured the visitor's cup to the brim, and then kept pouring. The professor watched the overflowing cup until he could no longer restrain himself. "It's overfull! No more will go in!" the professor blurted.

"You are like this cup," the master replied, "How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup."

  17. Honestly , I am not able to contain my life within a 'glass' If it would have been so I would have drawn some boundaries  for myself. I donot feel so.

Spiritually speaking my life  seems  to have no boundaries , no limitations. It is me who falls short of the reach .  The optimism or the pessimism that , normally , one associates with the glass analogy, is very subjective .

  27. Certainly we are mortal. We do face challenges. We need to be realistic about the effects of a fallen world; I am aware of the challenges we face as individuals, as a society, as a nation, and as a Church. Remember Jesus' own words on the night He was betrayed: "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). I have witnessed such things in my own family, among my friends, and among the church..      In the triumphal vision of John, we are reminded of the difficulties that plague us in mortality. When asked to identify the kings and priests and queens and priestesses from every nation, kindred, tongue, and people that he saw in his vision, John indicated he did not know. Then the angel of the Lord told him: "These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb" (Revelation 7:14).evertheless, we need to see the glass as being half full. There is another important scripture that I believe will help us see the glass of the future as half full instead of half empty. It is found in the book of Revelation, chapter 7. John saw those who will be saved in heaven and observed, "And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel" (Revelation 7:4).

But that is not all who are saved, as verse 9 continues: "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands" (Revelation 7:9).So we as christian should always see the glass as half full, when we  spiritually speaking we have been anointed with the Holy Ghost to do good deeds so we change, even small changes and we get it right with the Lord, remembering the lord said our cup  is runneth over Psalm23&5.  so according to the scriptures if we are wash in the  Blood of the Lamb,(Repented, Believed, Ask for forgiveness , Confessed the lord Jesus, our  glass should be half full).Since the Lord Jesus drank  of a full ed cup of sins ,      for all sinners He  stated now one can drink out of  His  "Cup". My glass is half full and it will remain that way until the second coming of the lord..... Peace........ This is a verry good Question thank you for asking it.

  28. It doesn't matter what you choose, the result still the same.

The positive thinking doesn't make your life better.

  29. Spiritually speaking, glass is always full. But my ego covers it half and thinks it is half full only!

  30. At this point I would say I am feeling very much like the glass is half empty. But when I get out of this dark place I am in, I'm gona fill it up to the top so it won't matter!!
