  1. Hypocrisy all the way, baby, hipocrisy

  2. I have no idea whatsoever as to who Fred Phelps is...

I do know that Christians  do not "hide behind outdated dogma"

Spiritually speaking, it's called "The Truth".

You will personally be made aware of this someday.

And you will speak the name that is above all names, along with all in heaven, on earth, and under the earth......

  3. we are hiding behind nothing

We are not expressing hate or fear but The Word of God

  4. They think that they have an insurance policy issued by the god concept through a church and they can't talk against it or their policy will be revoked.

  5. To answer your question I need to know, whether you hate dogma, Christians who believe in this dogma, or Jesus the Christ perpetrator of the dogma, your just not clear in your questions. I don't know that you to answered, or is it just one question.

It is people like you, who stood before Christ during his judgment in Jerusalem. And, they were not the voice of the populace, but members of the clergy, and intelligencia. Those who felt they had something to lose by believing, whether it was position, standing in the community, or their learning was in jeopardy, along with their position and standing in the community.

I listen, but you have to be heard saying something to get a reply. When you speak againt doctrine you have to show how that doctrine has failed to criticise it.

If I speak what I believe I have enhanced through what I have gained of that doctrine.

Notice I have not called you g*y, a homophobe, nor an Atheist, for the moment I think you're just disappointed at something, I dont know.

  6. because they are trying to be the best person they can be.

why do you think they are hiding? why do you think the dogma is outdated?

  7. Most Christians are not motivated by hate and fear.  Just look around you.  Don't dwell too much on the words of a few extremists.  Bear in mind that many people (Christian and non-Christian) do not accept homosexual behavior, but saying that they "hate" g**s and lesbians is too strong of a word in most cases.

  8. homosexuality is an abomination to the Lord. thats what we believe. we call it sin, you call it hate. so be it. were not going to ignore the word of GOD just to make you homosexuals feel better about your sinful lifestyle. youre free to go on livivng your life however you see fit and were still free to believe its wrong. all we can do is agree to disagree.

  9. i dont use outdated dogma to express hate and fear. the bible stands on its own. just like my thoughts and emotions.

  10. Sorry but if you were more mature you would see that thats not true at all.

  11. Let me show you what you asked...

"Spiritually speaking why do Christians hide behind outdated dogma?"

I understand that, but you go on...

"Spiritually speaking why do Christians call it sin to express their hate & fear?"

This does not make any sense.

Let's add on the additional details...

"Spiritually speaking why do Christians call it sin to express their hate & fear towards g**s and atheists as well as different religions."

Again, you aren't making any sense.  You are contradicting yourself.  Christians DO call it sin to express hatred and fear towards anyone!

We are against homosexuality and atheism and the other religions because they are unhealthy ways to live and they affect the world in negative ways.

We don't hate the sinner. We hate the sin.

  12. That's a pretty broad generalization.  How about getting a little bit more specific?  You can't answer a question like this because a person has no idea exactly what you are talking about.  There are so many things that people would consider to be outdated.

I didn't say that you were wrong, I was wanting specifics.

  13. I guess it's because when you hate in the name of religion, it's not seen as bigotry or fear. They call it righteousness.

  14. I'm not exactly sure what you mean.  Hiding behind outdated dogma.  and the part about expressing hate and fear is sinful.  Because the way I was taught was not hate and fear are sinful but apathy or the lack of love.  Not caring about others or the world being sinful.  So what do you mean exactly?

  15. Please be more specific and actually quote the hate that you refer to. I am fully aware that there are 'some' Christians who seem to have forgotten that God is Love and I would put in this category those who make trouble at the funerals of homosexuals. God will deal with them in His timing.

Speaking generally, Christians point out the wrongs in the world out of love for those who are heading the wrong way. No Christian wishes to believe that one of their loved ones is going to h**l. Nor do we wish to think that anyone at all is going to h**l and this is the reason that we speak out and use this website.

Anyone can choose to dismiss what Christians try to tell others but why does it have to be dismissed with hatred and offensive terms and blasphemy?

I rarely see anything that could be described as 'hate' being spewed out by Christians (as you put it) but the hatred OF Christianity shown by non-believers on this website is plain for all to see.

There must be something that these people are afraid of for them to react so bitterly   It must be because they know, deep down, that what we say is true.
