  2. Obama is an American. i don't care what anybody says.

Spirituality and citizenship are unrelated.  That's about as true as you can get.  He is an American - you have to be a born US citizen to serve as president.  He is of the Christian faith, so he fits in with the mainstream media's idea of what it is to be American.  I don't know that helps you, but seriously, negative campaign messages are just *propaganda* from both sides. They're like all advertisments - they bend the truth.  McCain does it.  Obama does it.  They all do it.  Do you think McDonalds is going to have an ad saying it'll make you fat and pimply?  No, they have ads that say kids like their happy meal toys and that they offer fruit now!

    Look at where he stands on the issues and make up your mind from there.

  4. Spiritually speaking, and I swear this is true, and NO I do not do drugs. I am a natural healer. When I seen Obama on the David Letterman show. I must of had a Sylvia Brown moment. For Obama changed right before my eyes. Headgear and all, and appeared to be a ancient Inca. Totally freaked me out. So maybe reincarnation is real, one of my yahoo groups told me. I was suffering from information overload, when I told them what I saw. LOL

    It's not legal to run for president if you're not born in America.

  8. Spiritually speaking? Why would you ask spiritually speaking? What does being spiritual have to do with being an american? If you are implying that you need to conform to a specific religion or belief to be an American then you should be shunned.

  10. What do you mean "Spiritually Speaking" ?  What spiritual qualities do you claim an American needs?  I would say pick on.  They are all found in America

  11. Our politicians are not spiritual leaders, and secondly, I don't know of any political leader that talks about themselves as being spiritual. They will invoke  a religion to manipulate people like Bush did, but I don't really ever believe that any politician is righteous. Religious does not mean spiritual.

    Religiously, Obama identifies as a Christian.

  13. To run for president, you have to be a non-naturalized US citizen.

    Which means you have to be born American.  

    Obama is American.

    ETA:  To the person below me.  Obama was born in America.  He was born in Hawaii, which is a US state.  He was born after Hawaii became a US state.
