Splendide 2100 vented washer/dryer.

Question

Washer will fill completely but without the drum turning. Washer will immediately drain completely again without tumbling. Indicator light flashes 8 times and cycle k**b clicks and rotates non-stop. After draining, it sounds like the drying cycle begins. Usually smelling hot if drying time is requested. If dry time is turned to zero, it sounds like it still is trying to activate drying but I don't think it smells hot. I bought the washer/dryer new and had it installed in our new coach in 2004. Thank you for any advise you can give me. We are traveling so we can't reach a technician for a month.
