  1. I like these for my horse:

They last a long time, are not terribly expensive and they work.

I have never used these boots but they seem very popular for english and western.

  2. Im not sure where abouts you live but I find if you go to one of the tack shops (Greenhawk, Pleasent Ridge, Wilsons) you will find a variety of them. Do you do Western or English? Try going to a tack shop that specializes in your disipline and ask them what would best suit your horse.

  3. I absolutely love my Woof boots. They're really easy to clean and do a good job protecting the horse's legs. They also come in lots of colors, and aren't too expensive, especially since they last forever. I know a lot of people that use these boots and think they're great. I know other people who like Dover's boots, although if you use them for trails and such they do hold the water a bit more. I'd say a large in the Woof boot would fit your guy, as the mediums fit my 15.2 hand boy pretty well.
