  1. I would reccomend jump roping. It will help you so you will be able to jump higher. Also, if you cant do the splits on the ground, try stretching so you will be able to. That way you can do it even better.

  2. my suggestion is that for me i find that i have a better split when i split when i am coming down as appose to when i go up.  But to do that, you need more height and get stronger. i recommend sitting on the wall in an imaginary chair for a minute a day

  3. In order to do a good spilt jump, you have to be able to get enough height to be able to execute a full spilt in the air.  Since you say you are very flexible, I think you should work on getting stronger so you can jump higher so that you will have enough time in the air to do a spilt.  It is the same with all jumps.  You need to get enough height so that you can complete the rotation.  I think you should just keep practicing, and do some off ice training as well to help with your strength.  Hope this helps!

  4. I was actually having the same problem. My coach says that it was because i needed to excercise the muscle on my legs more which definately helped to make the jump bigger, stronger, higher, and much easier.

It helps to practice doing the splits on the ground as often as you can. it also helps to even do the jump on the ground. It will make your body more used to being in the air in that position.

Just keep practicing and don't give up. figure skating is a beautiful sport.

  5. hey your english is fine! i have the same problem!
