Splits question.....?

im 13 and i really want to be able to do a split.. im not really flexible.. any good stretches or techniques.. websites? anything that will help!! ~thanks :]]

  1. Splits are a very tough thing to do if you are not flexible. But no worries you will master one with the proper stretching, and dedication. Try sitting down and bending one leg under you, then straightening the other leg out in front of you and reaching toward your toe. Do not force the split down! I have known many people that have torn muscles from forcing it. Just take it little by little, you will get there!


  2. splits are really hard to get down if you arent flexible. but you just have to stretch them out everyday.

Anybody can learn to do the splits if they really work at it. try putting a book under your foot well in the splits and push down really hard and hold it as long as you can. and stretching in a stradle stretches out both legs and that helps to. i learned to do the splits in a month by stretching 2 hours a day and just hold the position for a really really long time. umm i cant really think of anything else, i hope that helped good luck!
