Splotches on clothes from wash ?

When I was my clothes sometimes some of my tee shirt and other things have splotches of lighter color. Like if some of the shirt was bleached. But I didn't put bleach in! How can I prevent this? And what am I doing? Help please!

Hi, do you use a public washer, if so maybe someone before you used bleach.  If not maybe you are putting too much soap in your washer.  Sometimes soap can give you bleach spots.

Start washer so water goes in  then put in detergent.  Next, put clothes in after detergent is liquefied.  Maybe powder has caked on your T-shirts without washing or rinsing off.  Liquid Tide is best.  For darks, Woolite.  Good luck.
