Can you sponser a child from the US?

As far as I'm aware, you can't. However, SOS Children's Villages has children in Illinois and Florida that you can sponsor. I sponsor a girl in Africa through them and so far really like them. I did a lot of research before choosing the organization I wanted to sponsor through, and they seemed by far the best to me.
