Sponsoring immigrants ?

Question

Am i able to register a person to be in the united states but for another person to be the sponsor with full obligations.

The reason is that i have higher relationship status with this person but i do not want any obligations.

Am i able to give obligations to another person?

That does not seem right at all.  How did you ever get someone else to take over what appears to be your responsibility.  They would have to take the responsibility, not be given it.

I don't think you can towards immigration but it's possible that you can be the sponsor and make a legal contract with the person who wants the obligations that if anything comes up, they would be the ones paying.  You should probably talk to a lawyer about that to see how you can do it to make it legal.

I highly doubt it. If you are signing the petition for them because of family standing,then you are the one that has to sign the sponsor papers. If you don't make enough money,you can get a co sponsor but I'm sure that you signing the petition and someone else trying to sponsor will look like attempted fraud to immigration.

Only if you pay for all of their expenses and dont let them be a burden to our tax dollars

I think you can if you were considered to be their employer.
