Spook or not? walking at nite?

Question

thinks go on in the house at nite. if i am in bed it sounds like someone walking around when no one else in the house only me.i also hear a ladys voice .. is it a spook or not ?

That sounds scary.. If you only hear floorboards creaking then it might be the house cooling down because during the day the house warms up and expands.. then during the night the house cools down and gets smaller lol these are only tiny differences though.. however what your saying does sound like a spook xx

Set up a tape recorder and see if you get anything on it.

I wouldn't worry about it either way.  It's not hurting anyone, no matter what it is.  Try asking her to please be quiet.

It sounds residual.  Is your house old?  Residual hauntings often involve sounds, like footsteps on the stairs or voices.  If you do not know what a residual haunting is, either an event happens so many times that it imprints itself on the images around it, or something hugely traumatic happens, again imprinting itself on the objects around it.  For what ever reason, it sometimes plays itself.  It might even play all the time, and we only hear it in absolute quiet.
