Sport/ Recreation groups in west sydney?

I need to do 3 months of recreation for my Duke of Ed..

Haven'tt found any groups in West Sydney.. ( Glebe to Strathfield) that will take in me for 3 months. I don't want to join a competitive sport like Soccer. ANyoen have any ideas on any clubs that will take me in ?
