Sport bikes vs street bikes o.O?

Question

I'm looking for a bike to buy, but sport bikes = mass insurance, while street bikes, or what ever you call them aren't that pricey. Could somebody tell me which bikes are like this, and where I could check some out. (net)

Pure Sport Bikes = GSXR (Suzuki), Ninja (Kawasaki), CBR (Honda), and R1 & R6 (Yamaha) The Yamaha FZ 1 and FZ6 are very fast machines but don't command sport bike premiums. Other options are Suzuki SV series  or GS500.

A new rider shouldn't be buying a sportbike anyway, you need to earn the right to ride these bikes or win your own personal Darwin award.  A 250 ninja is a hot little bike, non riders won't know it from a liter bike, it is probalby reasonable for insurance, gets 80 mpg and will own 883 sportsters.  I think they are like $3500 new.  Get a used on and forget full coverage insurance.  There is nothing wrong with getting a great bike and saving a ton of money.

I know they have came out with a new triumph but a honda gold wing are great bikes also. I don't know any web sites though, sorry.

i really dont have an answer for you besides Suzuki Kawasaki Honda Yamaha are the most pure sport bikes,

BTW were do you live since you say that sport bike insurance is massive? cause i'm not payin that much and i have upper 1/3 insurance
