To further strengthen their squad and add some much needed depth, manager Steve Kean has been keeping an eye on Vukcevic for some time now.

Rovers’ trainer, Kean, has backed his decision to sign the former Manchester City man and believes that he has the necessary characteristics to succeed in his new surroundings.
"He is an exciting player and also can play on both flanks. He is good technically and is very focused,” said the former Coventry City coach.
Kean also added that the front man will be able to play some part in the weekend’s match against Everton, but for that he will travel to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 alongside his documents this week and train with his new teammates.
"He must come back tomorrow [today] to England and bring the necessary documentation. If you train on Thursday and Friday, then you may be able to meet on Everton,” the coach was quoted as saying.
With the addition of an experienced player like Simon Vukcevic, Blackburn Rovers are at least better equipped with options up front and might finally be able to move on from their relegation battles, which have tormented them over the past few seasons.
